But saying "Hey, I found GRUBS in my sink" feels a little less like a disgusting mind fuck.
Is this one of the signs of the coming of God? Hmmm.
I'm going to go read the Bible. And watch for other omens.

I'm afraid an attack of maggots is not among the signs of the coming of JC. (I've googled them. The faithful believe in a lot of things, but as I said, maggots do not seem to indicate Jesus's coming.)
I am disappointed.
